在桉属中,托里桉(Eucalyptus torelliana)是近年来颇受人注目的树种,其枝叶婆娑,树冠呈尖塔型,幼枝嫩叶红色,终年常绿。它原产澳大利亚,为热带桉树种类之一,我国云南植物研究所最早引种,1974年广西东门林场开始种植,1979年华南农业大学从东门林场获得少量种子,经育苗,造林效果良好,在南亚热带以南广大地区,四旁绿化、庭园布置、台地低丘造林,不失为良好树种。形态特征:托里桉又名卡达桉,红毛桉,常绿大乔木,叶子茂密,分枝很低(图1),枝条不易脱落,从地面至顶梢呈尖塔形。嫩叶、老叶、小枝均有红色绒毛,故名
