2011年7月,靖安县图书馆迎来了免费开放的第一个暑假读者高峰期,日均接待读者达600多人次。为应对读者高峰期,靖安县图书馆全体职工振作精神,团结一心,精心组织,科学安排。暑假前夕,该馆就购进了20万元读者喜爱的纸质图书和电子读物。投资10万元拓展和装修服务空间,新增了中学生自修室,挑选聘请了一批有一技之长且热爱青少年教育的义务辅导员协助图书馆开展一系列适合青少年特点的读书活动。根据不同年龄,兴趣爱好,该馆还组织了读书写作、电脑培训、书法、绘画、舞蹈等学习兴趣小组。为激发中小学生的兴趣爱好,该馆从华中理工大学聘请了一位美
