《New Engl J Med》1985,312(19):1253,May 9。
New Engl J Med 1985, 312 (19): 1253, May 9. Three studies have shown that eating large amounts of fish may have great benefits to human health. One study showed that a group of Dutch who fed fish for 20 years showed an inverse relationship with death from heart disease. These findings are interesting because: (1) this is the result of a prospective approach; (2) an average daily intake of just 30 grams of fish may have an important preventive effect; (3) death from consumption of fish and coronary heart disease The relevance seems to be independent of other risk factors such as age, blood pressure and cholesterol levels. This study has not yet been completed, but one important issue remains unanswered: is there any relationship between eating fish and cancer and other diseases?
