十六年前在倫敦大學本部藥理實驗室進修時,H. R. Ing博士曾將其合成的一種新胆鹼衍生物一苯羥乙醯胆鹼或孟德立醯胆鹼(Mandelylcholine)交作者作藥理試驗。渠因此藥構造上與后馬託品相似(圖1),預测此藥可能有阿託品樣作用。經試驗後證明此藥確有阿託品作用,同時仍保留乙醯胆鹼樣的作用。當時認為二種作用並存,徒曾其作用的複雜性,恐無實用價值,故未發表。最近清理實

Synthesized its new choline derivatives of a chloramphenicol or mandelylcholine author as a pharmacological test.
