Many elderly people still use crutches even though they are still in good health. Wang Dongxu, director of Department of Geriatrics, Nanjing Integrative Medicine Hospital, reminded the elderly who are in good health not to use crutches in order to avoid feeling of dependence and unfavorable for developing a sense of balance and maintaining a healthy walking posture. In fact, the solution to problems is often superficial, over-dependent and even delayed the best diagnosis of disease time. For example, the lack of vitamin B12 can cause spinal deformities such as spinal cord disease, resulting in weakness of both lower extremities, walking and other symptoms; hypokalemia is the most prominent manifestations of limb weakness, lower limbs most obvious; walking unsteady, often dizzy brain Therefore, the phenomenon of walking instability should not be ignored. It is best to go to the hospital for examination, early detection, early diagnosis and early treatment so as to avoid damaging the health.
