Objective To explore the effect of grasping the relevant reproductive knowledge of induced abortion on the prevention of complications and provide the basis for the formulation of interventions. Methods A total of 172 patients who underwent abortion from May 2011 to August 2012 were selected as the study subjects. The degree of attention paid to abortion and the incidence of complications were statistically analyzed and compared among those with different genital knowledge. Results The higher the rate of attention paid to abortion was, the higher the rate of attention to abortion was. The higher the rate of attention to abortion was, the higher the incidence of abortion was. The rate of complications was significantly lower than those of general and poor reproductive knowledge. The emphasis on abortion was better than the worse, while the complication rate was lower than the worse, the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The mastery of reproductive knowledge related to abortion has a great impact on the prevention of complications. Health education should be strengthened in patients with relatively poor knowledge of reproductive health to attract attention to induced abortion.
