蒋介石(1887～1975),浙江奉化人,原名瑞元,学名志清,又名中正,字介石。国民政府成立后,任国民政府主席、国民党中央常务委员会主席、军事委员会委员长。太平洋战争爆发后,任中国战区盟军最高统帅。抗战胜利后,推行假和平、真内战的政策,于1946年6月挑起全面内战。1948年,任中华民国总统。1949年1月,被迫下野,同年率残部退至台湾。1950年3月,复任“总统”。1975年4月5日,在台北病逝。
Chiang Kai-shek (1887 ~ 1975), Fenghua, Zhejiang, formerly known as Ruiyuan, academic Zhiqing, also known as Chiang Kai-shek, the word Kai Shek. After the establishment of the Nationalist government, he was chairman of the Kuomintang government, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of the Kuomintang, and chairman of the military committee.
