目前由于人类血型遗传学数据处理方法相当复杂,计算量大,加之我国地域广、民族多,各群体间有一定差异,各种参数资料浩繁而零散,无法精确选取,影响结果的可靠性,所以法医物证鉴定只报告血型,不计算概率,这祥实际上只有否定意义。特别是经过多血型系统检验后不否定,若无概率指示,其实质是既不否定又不肯定,严重局限了其科学证据作用,浪费了宝贵的信息。为了解决这一问题,乌鲁木齐市公安局刑科所从1990年开始设想并着手论证,使用计算机实现法医物证鉴定多种量化分析。经过两年艰苦奋战,建立了“中国人群血型遗传学数据库、统计分析、鉴别系统”(以下简称“系统”)。1993年通过公安部鉴定,确认它“资料最完善,数据量最大,功能完整,实际应用范围广,是目前国内最理想的法医学、遗传学计算工具,处于国内领先水平,建议有关部阵组织向全国推广”。
