为了试验在公共电话网中光传输系统的潜力,德国邮电管理局从四个德国电信公司定制了技术要求相同的光纤现场试验系统。本文所描述的系统在发射端使用激光器,而在接收端使用雪崩光电二极管。光缆中含有8条梯度折射率光纤,还含有遥供电源用的铜线对,初步测量结果说明:这个系统很好地履行了技术要求。
In order to test the potential of optical transmission systems in the public switched telephone network, Deutsche Post and Telecommunications Authority customized customized fiber optic field test systems from four German telecommunications companies with the same technical requirements. The system described in this article uses a laser on the transmit side and an avalanche photodiode on the receive side. The fiber optic cable contains eight gradient index optical fiber, also contains a pair of copper wire for remote power supply, the preliminary measurement results show that: The system well to fulfill the technical requirements.
