在2010年中华书局版的《诵帚词集·云巢诗存:附年谱、传略》中,有关刘永济发表在《学衡》77期上的《新甲词》25阕词之系年还存有疑义。《新甲词》是刘永济任教东北大学期间见证其行迹与心迹的一组作品,具有重要的文献价值。通过考订这组词的创作背景,并梳理刘先生在东北大学期间的行迹、交游及其中显影的心迹,便可见出此一阶段不仅影响了他“音调危苦,气格沉雄”的词风形成,更见出他学术精神的家国情怀。
