目的 探讨血管生成与乳腺癌发展的关系 ,评估血管内皮生长因子 (VEGF)表达及微血管密度 (MVD)与乳腺肿瘤预后相关性与意义。方法 采用免疫组织化学链霉菌抗生物素蛋白过氧化物酶 (SP)法对 10 9例人乳腺癌及相应癌旁组织中的VEGF基因表达和MVD进行检测。结果 乳腺癌组织中VEGF阳性率 (93 .5 7% )明显高于癌旁组织 (4 8.67% )的表达 (P <0 .0 5 ) ,并与组织学类型相关。MVD与肿瘤大小、组织学分级密切相关 (P <0 .0 1)。结论 VEGF是肿瘤血管生成的重要因素 ,VEGF和MVD表达的增高与乳腺癌淋巴结转移、肿瘤复发有关
Objective To investigate the relationship between angiogenesis and the development of breast cancer and to evaluate the relationship between the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and the microvessel density (MVD) and the prognosis of breast cancer. Methods Immunohistochemical streptavidin-biotin peroxidase (SP) method was used to detect the expression of VEGF gene and MVD in 109 cases of human breast cancer and its adjacent tissues. Results The positive rate of VEGF in breast cancer tissues (93.57%) was significantly higher than that in paracancerous tissues (4.67%) (P <0.05), which was correlated with the histological type. MVD was closely related to tumor size and histological grade (P <0.01). Conclusion VEGF is an important factor in tumor angiogenesis. The increased expression of VEGF and MVD is associated with lymph node metastasis and tumor recurrence in breast cancer
