符合时代发展潮流的新闻传播可以给社会进步以推动力,否则会给社会的进步造成阻碍。作为媒体人,其职责无疑应该增加新闻传播的助推力,让媒体成为社会净化和文明进步的呼吁者。公信力是新闻传播的生命所在,它的基础要素是客观真实性。没有了客观真实性,新闻的生命之根也就失去了, 它对社会进步的正面助推力量也就失去了。缺乏公信力的新闻信息会像谣言一样蛊惑、误导公众,对社会的发展将形成负面的阻碍力和破坏力。而恰恰就是在这一关键性问题上一些媒体和新闻人却做得不尽人意。
