珠江三角洲,因领跑中国的改革开放而以“先行一步”闻名于世。但金球化滥觞时代,世界级、区域中心、全球制造基地等概念已在全球火热非凡;国内的长江三角洲一体化、西部大开发、东北老工业基地振兴等,也演绎着中国经济“板块隆起”的先兆。 眼下,一个世界级的经济发展态势正在演变着:面对经济全球化和中国加入WTO的新形势,已有“前店后厂”格局的香港和广东历史性地走向融合,合力打造世界级的经济区。目前,一股强大的经济核聚变正在加速运行,一个全新的概念——“大珠三角”正日渐清晰。 新的珠三角在地理概念上已不是20多年前的珠三角,不仅纳入了在世界经济舞台有着重要影响的香港,而且将有可能带动包括大西南在内的珠江经济带的发育和成长。 得改革开放先机的珠三角,经过20多年的发展,已然形成中国内地明显的“经济隆起”。但高处不胜寒,广东人早已感受到竞争带来的内外压力,尤其是长三角对投资者的巨大诱惑力。如何立足现有的“隆起”攀登更广阔的“高地”,并在“高地”上驰骋,广东人正在探索。
