From December 10 to November 11, the 11th Confucius Institute Conference was held in Kunming. Liu Yandong, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice chairman of the State Council and chairman of the council of the Confucius Institute Headquarters, attended the opening ceremony of the conference and delivered a keynote speech to award awards to advanced collectives and individuals of the Confucius Institute.
