经中共中央宣传部、广播电影电视部批准,江苏电视台第一套节目已于一九九七年十二月上传亚洲二号卫星,向全国和世界部分地区传送播放,上传节目呼号为江苏卫视。
Approved by the Propaganda Department, Radio, Film and Television Department of the CPC Central Committee, the first program of Jiangsu TV Station was uploaded to Asia No. 2 satellite in December 1997 and transmitted to the whole country and parts of the world. The uploaded program call sign is Jiangsu Satellite TV.
