Japan’s Institute of Atomic Technology designer Yoshio Tanaka and the University of Tokyo Professor Ozaki collaborative research and development of a new giant magnetoresistive material - manganese antimony gallium arsenide film laminated heterogeneous materials. It transforms from a good conductor to an insulator using a permanent magnet grade magnetic field at room temperature and exhibits a super giant magnetoresistive effect of more than 100% at room temperature.
