武钢一米七冷连轧机是七十年代的先进设备,其自动化程度高,轧制速度可达30米/秒,产品的尺寸精度及表面质量均有相当高的要求。因此,冷轧机工作辊的工作条件十分严格,如承受的最大轧制压力为2500吨,所以,对冷轧机工作辊的硬度、强度、韧性、耐磨性及抗事故能力都提出了很高的要求。曾对西德斯坦霍夫厂制造的冷轧锻钢工作辊作了检查,其表面硬度可达Hs 95;氧化物小于1级,硫化物1级;辊面显微组织为隐晶马氏体、细小均布的炭化物及少量的残余奥氏体;晶粒度11级;残余奥氏体量9%。金相组织见图1~2。超声波探伤时波形稳定,未发现任何缺陷波。可见,引进轧辊的质量是很好的。与之相比,我国冷轧辊是落后的,质量差,消耗很高,如鞍钢1961~1971年冷轧辊消耗平
