近年,焦作市人民检察院在市委、河南省人民检察院的领导下,始终坚持检察工作为改革开放和经济建设服务的指导思想,紧紧围绕“强化监督,公正执法”的检察工作主题,大力加强检察队伍建设,依法履行法律监督职能,为焦作市的社会政治稳定和经济发展做出了积极贡献。该院先后两次被最高人民检察院荣记“集体一等功”;两次被省委、四次被省人民检察院命名为“先进基层党组织”;连续两届被省委、省政府命名为“文明单位”。
