[Background] According to the “Beijing Evening News”, on the morning of April 6, 2002, the Confucius Temple on a quiet day in the Imperial College Street suddenly became bustling. 58 pre-school children started their first Sinology class in their first “Sino-Chinese Enlightenment Hall” located here. Learn traditional Chinese classics, poetry, etiquette, music, calligraphy and other traditional culture. These children will conduct enlightenment studies of Chinese traditional culture here every Saturday. In addition, a cultural promotion activity known as the “Classic Retribution Project of Classical Chinese Classical Poems” is also being carried out in schools, schools, and universities across the country. The sensational effect of the “Recording of Tang Poems and Famous Music” is also unrelenting. The traditional culture of ancient times is radiating youthful vitality with the development of modern science and technology. However, some parents and students have a disapproval attitude toward this. They think that reading these items is not useful. They might as well read a bit more English and mathematics, which is helpful for examinations and studies. About the topic of traditional culture and modern consciousness, students talked about their own views.
