构建社会主义和谐社会,是中国共产党从中国特色社会主义事业总体布局和全面建设小康社会全局出发提出的重大战略任务,是集经济、政治、文化、社会等要素为一体的系统工程。实施好这一工程,既要通过发展不断增强社会和谐的物质基顾础,又要通过推进法制建设来不断提供社会和谐的制度保障。律师制度作为中国法律制度的重要组成部分,在构建和谐社会、促进经济社会和谐发展中有着独特的功能,发挥着重要的作用,肩负着神圣的使命。改革开放以来,中国律师业取得了长足的发展,与世界各个国家和地区的律师同行开展了良好的交流合作,走出了一条中国特色社会主义律师事业的发展道路。
Building a socialist harmonious society is a major strategic task proposed by the Communist Party of China from the overall layout of the cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics and the overall situation of building a moderately prosperous society. It is a systematic project integrating economic, political, cultural and social elements. To implement this project, we must not only continue to provide institutional guarantees of social harmony through the development of a material basis for continuously enhancing social harmony, but also promote the construction of the legal system. As an important part of China's legal system, the lawyer system has its unique function in building a harmonious society and promoting the harmonious development of economy and society, playing an important role and shouldering the sacred mission. Since the reform and opening up, China's lawyer profession has made great strides in its development. It has conducted good exchanges and cooperation with lawyers and counterparts in various countries and regions in the world and has embarked on a path of development of a lawyer's career with Chinese characteristics.
