毕飞宇被誉为“写女性心理最好的男作家”[1]1。他作品中的女性角色都相当精彩,若女性不是作品中的主人公,那配角也一定有出色的女性,也有相当精彩的刻画与深意。女性是小说中必不可少的一部分,就像社会中女性本就是客观存在的一样,小说也一样。回首过往,女性在社会中始终是属于底层的,现实的污秽在她们身上体现得淋漓尽致。有的为了获得权力,有的为了争取爱情与梦想,有的为了得到欲望的满足,她们出卖了自己的身体和灵魂。

In order to gain power, some seek for love and dreams, and others sell their own bodies and souls in order to be content with their desires.
