This paper describes the relationship between the thermal regeneration of adsorbed phenol on a bitumen-based activated carbon and temperature, and the data is determined using a thermogravimetric analyzer. The results showed that 383% of the initial weight was desorbed from the solution that had been dried in air at 393 K and adsorbed onto activated carbon from the solution. Subsequent heating to 673 K resulted in a loss of 11% of the residue at 393K. Within this temperature range, water, carbon dioxide and trace phenols and diphenyl ether were confirmed in the desorbed product, but UV analysis showed that there were other substances present. Further heating to 1073K, weight loss of 42% at 393K residual amount. Phenols and other special pyrolysis products in this high temperature desorption. Heat up to 1073K with 47% residue at 393K.
