1988年欧洲的苹果产量为9百万吨。意大利、德国和法国三个国家的苹果产量占整个欧洲产量的75％。尽管意大利和法国苹果产量在下降,但这二个国家仍是金冠(GoldenDelicious)的主产国,占总产33%。到目前为止,嘎拉(Gala)还没有具体产量数据,而1988年澳洲青苹(Granny smith)已经达到279,000吨,比上年增产9％。在南欧的一些果园,嘎拉和澳洲青苹已经取代了部分金冠。
Apple production in Europe in 1988 was 9 million tons. Apple production in three countries, Italy, Germany and France, accounts for 75% of the total European production. Although production of apples in Italy and France is declining, the two countries are still Golden Delicious main producing countries, accounting for 33% of the total output. To date Gala has no specific production data yet, while Granny Smith in Australia reached 279,000 tonnes in 1988, up 9% from the previous year. Some of the orchards in southern Europe, Gala and Australian Green Pings have replaced some of the Golden Delicious.
