工会十四大以来,面对改革发展中维护职工安全健康合法权益工作所遇到的新情况和新问题,各级工会在拓宽工作领域、完善监督机制、加强自身建设等方面进行了积极的探索和实践。以加大立法参与和推动有关法律法规的贯彻实施、推进建立社会化维权格局、利用集体合同和劳动合同对企业安全卫生工作进行制约等手段,从源头上维护职工的安全健康合法权益;

We should safeguard the lawful rights and interests of workers and staff members at source by means of such measures as increasing legislative participation and promoting the implementation of the relevant laws and regulations, promoting the establishment of a social activist pattern and using corporate and labor contracts to restrict the safety and health work of enterprises.
