驻马店地区位于河南省南部,西部为山区,东部为平原,总流域面积14997平方公里,总耕地1135万亩,人口743万人。有大型水库4座,中型水库8座,小型水库150多座,大型河道2条,中型河道33条。全区现有机电井5万眼,机电灌站260处,水泵、喷灌机近5万台,有各类抗旱服务站(队)1268个13456人。这些水利设施和抗旱服务体系在近年的抗旱中,发挥了重要作用。
The Zhumadian area is located in the south of Henan Province, with the western part being a mountainous area and the eastern part being a plain with a total drainage area of 14,997 square kilometers and a total area of 11,350,000 mu and a population of 7,430,000. There are 4 large reservoirs, 8 medium-sized reservoirs, more than 150 small reservoirs, 2 large-scale rivers and 33 medium-sized rivers. There are 50,000 electromechanical wells in the area, 260 electromechanical filling stations, nearly 50,000 water pumps and irrigation sprinklers, and 1268 13456 people of various drought-resistant service stations (teams). These water conservancy facilities and drought relief service system have played an important role in drought resistance in recent years.
