2017年4月20日,学术出版商Springer Nature发表声明,撤下其旗下杂志Tumor Biol已发表的107篇研究,而这些研究均来自中国。此次的撤稿原因为这些论文涉嫌伪造同行评审,作者推荐审稿人时使用了审稿人的真实姓名,通过假冒审稿人的真实邮件提供积极、赞许的审稿意见而使文章得以发表。此事闹得沸沸扬扬,甚嚣尘上。看今人不肖,思先贤教诲。清·叶天士《临证指南医案·华序》有言,
