In my novels, women’s martial arts are not necessarily better than men, but they have the advantages that men do not have; they focus on love and family. Women tend to love more deeply than men. First of all, I sincerely thank the East Asian Department of the Chinese Language and Literature and the Institute of Chinese Modern Culture for hosting this event. I am grateful to Professor Lauel Rasplica Rodd, Professor Madeline Spring, for her support. I am grateful to Graduate Dean Dean Rodney Taylor for her welcome on behalf of the University of Colorado Greetings from the Dean and Dean of the University Library Dean James Williams and their various assistance. Special thanks also go to Professor Howard Goldblatt and Professor Liu Zaifu, the convenors of the meeting, as well as the Secretary General, Deputy Secretary-General and Secretaries of the meeting. Thank you all for coming to this seminar, especially Mr. Li Zehou and Mr. Zhao Yiheng from University of London, both of whom came in hastily. One fell before the meeting and one sprained his foot on the road. Although both were minor injuries, I Still feel very sorry, I hope the two recovered as soon as possible.
