作者提出了一种在光纤网络中实现光信号交换的新方法。在图3所示的方案中,一组光开关连接着12个终端用户。所有光开关都安装在中心控制室内,由计算机进行程序控制。网络中的每一对用户可以自由通信而不受其他连络的影响。该网络提供的通信服务带宽足以满足用户在现代通信中的需要。而且,由于网络实现了全光纤连结,在抗EMI和RFI以及群回路等问题方面具有潜在的竞争能力。冯泰钧同志在成文中给予多次帮助,谨致谢意。
The authors propose a new method for optical signal exchange in fiber optic networks. In the scenario shown in Figure 3, a set of optical switches connects 12 end users. All optical switches are installed in the central control room, the computer program control. Each pair of users in the network is free to communicate without being affected by other connections. The network provides communication services bandwidth enough to meet the needs of users in modern communications. And, because the network has all-fiber connectivity, it has the potential to compete in issues such as EMI and RFI and group loops.
