写意冠之以新,是因为它与传统的文人写意画有区别;新而又名之为写意,是因为它与传统的文人写意画有联系。 新写意水墨画遥接传统文人写意画衣钵的基本点有四: 一、都强调写其意气,它不是侧重物象的再现而是侧重胸臆的表达。张彦远所谓的“书画之艺,皆须意气而成”早在一千多年前就为写意艺术奠定了理论基础。“意气”就是强调艺术家从心里涌出的情思和生命活力,在传统文论中叫抒发胸臆、吟咏性情。
