2月12日,由意法半导体的无线半导体业务和爱立信的移动平台业务合并成立、双方各持股50%的合资公司宣布,公司命名为ST-Ericsson。两家母公司最近完成了2008年8月宣布的爱立信手机平台与ST-NXP Wireless的整合。
On February 12, a joint venture between STMicroelectronics’ wireless semiconductor business and Ericsson’s mobile platform business was formed. Each of the 50% owned joint venture companies announced that the company was named ST-Ericsson. The two parent companies recently completed the integration of Ericsson’s handset platform announced in August 2008 with ST-NXP Wireless.
