Criminals are an important part of linguistic jargon and are social dialects. They are rooted in the subcultures of society and reflect the language customs of the subcultures. This article briefly analyzes the manifestations and characteristics of criminal metaphors in Taiyuan, aiming at exploring the internal rules of their language and providing the necessary information aids to crack down on criminal activities.
