China Cities Daily reported that the tenth annual meeting of the people’s work conference was held in Harbin on October 18 and 20, 2000. This annual meeting concluded with the exchange of the achievements of the mass work in the past year and further explored new ideas for mass work in the new period. Prior to this annual meeting, 317 papers and letters from readers, reference materials and layouts, etc. were provided to the mass-level cadres by the City Geotechnical Research Society ’99 Awarding Jury
