留守少年儿童是我国经济社会转型时期出现的最需要关爱的特殊少年儿童群体之一。维护留守少年儿童群体的合法权益,代表他们的利益诉求,是共青团组织的职责所在。目前,湖南有240多万留守少年儿童,其中有相当一部分不同程度存在学业失教、道德失范、生活失助、亲情失落、心理失衡、安全失保等问题,严重影响了留守少年儿童的健康成长,这已成为一个严重的社会问题。共青团湖南省委从2005年开始高度关注留守少年儿童群体,认真开展关爱留守少年儿童工作,取得了比较扎实的成效。
Staying children and adolescents is one of the special groups of children and adolescents who are most in need of caring during the economic and social transition in our country. It is the duty of the Communist Youth League to safeguard the lawful rights and interests of left-behind children and youth groups and represent their interests. At present, there are over 2.4 million left-behind children and adolescents in Hunan. A considerable part of them have problems of losing their education, losing their morality, losing their loved ones, losing their families, losing their lives and ensuring their safety and security. This has seriously affected the healthy growth of left-behind children This has become a serious social problem. Since 2005, the Communist Youth League Hunan Provincial Party Committee has paid close attention to the group of left-behind children and children and earnestly carried out the work of caring for the children left behind and made relatively solid achievements.
