中国航海学会于1981年4月10日至15日在湖北省宜昌市召开了“河道渠化”学术讨论会,重点探讨葛洲坝建成后的长江航运及航行安全问题。会议期间,代表们到葛洲坝工地对坝区航道情况进行了实地考察并参观了葛洲坝的建造情况。参加会议的有来自院校、科研、设计及航运、水利、水产等部门的学者、专家共66人。中国航海学会副理事长贺崇升、周启新;副理事长兼学术委员会主任高原;常务理事兼学术委员会副主任李景森;常务理事左文渊、陈嘉震等出席了会议。会议由武汉航海学会副秘书长徐宁生主持。
China Navigation Academy held a “Channel Canalization” Symposium on April 10-15, 1981 in Yichang, Hubei Province, focusing on the navigation and navigation safety of the Yangtze River after the completion of the Gezhouba Dam. During the conference, delegates went to the Gezhouba site to conduct site visits to the waterway in the dam area and visited the construction of the Gezhouba Dam. There were 66 scholars and experts from colleges, scientific research, design and shipping, water conservancy and aquatic products participating in the conference. He Chongsheng and Zhou Qixin, vice chairmen of China Maritime Academy; Li Jinshen, vice chairman and academic committee director; executive director and academic committee deputy director Li Jingsen; executive director Zuo Wenyuan and Chen Jiazhen attended the conference. The meeting was hosted by Xu Ningsheng, deputy secretary general of Wuhan Maritime Academy.
