TORONTO, Calif. - Transdermal removal of kidney stones represents a major advance in the treatment of urolithiasis. A team from Wellesley Hospital in Toronto predicted that transdermal lithotripsy might replace classic kidney stone surgery in the next few years, urologist John Rankin and radiologist Robin Gray said at a hospital clinical day here.
