Flavonoids are important secondary metabolites in plants and have important ecological functions and economic value. However, little research has been done on the flavonoids of Larix gmelin. In this thesis, the dynamic changes of flavonoids in Larix gmelinii under natural conditions were studied, and the correlation between flavonoids and temperature and light was also discussed. The results showed that: (1) The contents of flavonoids in the bark, stem, xylem and branch were as follows: bark (7.78%)> needles (2.79%)> branches %)> Stem xylem (1.19%). (2) The content of flavonoids in bark, stem xylem, needle and branch had obvious seasonal changes, but the temperature dependence of flavonoid content in different organs (bark, leaves, branches and stem xylem) was not the same. As for the bark, the flavone content showed a significantly positive correlation with the temperature (R2 = 0.75) as the temperature increased. However, the flavonoid content of other organs did not depend on the temperature. (3) With the change of seasons, the highest content of flavonoids appeared in summer and autumn, and the content was 3-4 times of that in winter and spring. This phenomenon may be attributed to a variety of environmental stresses that summer larch suffers, such as ultraviolet radiation, high temperature and the like, which may promote the accumulation of flavonoids. (4) Among the needles with different heights and orientations, the content of flavonoids in the leaves was more than that in the shade leaves, and the number of the upper leaves was higher than that in the lower leaves. This indicated that solar radiation promoted the accumulation of flavonoids (R2 = 0.76). In summary, flavonoids play a positive role in the protection of larch against the stresses of the natural environment, protecting larch from heat and light damage, but flavones from different organs may play different roles.
