今年2月，《酒店精品》“环球酒店行罗马站”在罗马第一豪华艺术酒店见到了酒店的设计师安东尼奥·马里库勒（Antonio Marincola）。有着希腊雕塑般面部轮廓的安东尼奥出生在意大利，可谓高产设计师，早在20多年前即以自己的姓氏在罗马历史古城中心就建立了“马里库勒建筑和室內设计工作室”。其酒店设计作品不仅遍布意大利的罗马、米兰、佛罗伦萨、威尼斯和卡普里岛，还承担了像北京这样的大型城市的 LaVie 别墅设计，以及香港的大型公寓建筑和远在大洋彼岸美国迈阿密的酒店设计等。
安东尼奥认为，一部好的作品应当是设计与空间、艺术与科学、室内设计与建筑设计有机的结合产物。在与安东尼奥的交谈中不禁令人感慨，在这个以后古典主义设计酒店林立为中心的罗马古城中，如此的现代设计，不可谓不大胆，酒店名称的“第一”，其实也是“唯一”。而安东尼奥坦言，其设计灵感来自于北京的 The Opposite House 瑜舍。
酒店的主体建筑始于19世纪，安东尼奥用了6个月的时间完成了酒店改造设计，而酒店的施工部分用了将近3年的时间。酒店共设有29间客/套房，每一间客房设计迥异，但均以不同的当代风格的艺术品和现代家具为特色，广泛运用天鹅绒更加彰显酒店的奢华。每间客房均配有iPod基座、柔软的浴袍、拖鞋和免费洗浴用品。部分套房还配备有带 Jacuzzi 浴缸的露台。此外，酒店拥有一间大堂酒吧和一个免费的健身区。
这间精致奢华的现代酒店，恍若一间美丽的画廊一般期待着您的到来。

As early as 20 years ago， he has founded "Marincola architectural and interior design studio" in the city center of Rome. Antonio believed that a good work should be the organic combination of design and space， art and science， interior and architectural design. The hotel name "The 1st" also means "The only one". Antonio said： its design inspiration came from Beijing's the opposite house.
The main building of the hotel existed in nineteenth Century. Antonio spent 6 months to complete the design of the transformation of the hotel， and the construction of the hotel took nearly 3 years. The hotel has a total of 29 rooms/suites， each room design is different， featuring art and modern furniture of different contemporary styles. Each room is equipped with a iPod base， soft bathrobe， slippers and free toiletries. Some suites are also equipped with a Jacuzzi in the terrace. In addition， the hotel has a lobby bar and a free fitness zone.
