吕其明是从“新中国”诞生初期开始从事电影音乐创作的作曲家。在那个时期,中国电影最明显的标志是工农兵和广大人民群众真正成为了电影的主人,反映人民群众建设社会主义的现实生活以及反映革命斗争历史的题材成为中国电影的主体,产生了一批经典之作。吕其明的电影音乐创作是在这样的大环境当中诞生的,他的电影音乐风格也是在写作过程当中所形成的。

Lu Qiming is a composer who started to work on the music of cinema from the very beginning of the birth of “New China.” At that time, the most obvious sign of Chinese cinema was that the workers, peasants and soldiers and the broad masses of the people truly became the masters of the film. The masses reflecting the real life of building socialism and the subject reflecting the history of the revolutionary struggle became the main body of Chinese cinema, classic work. Lu Qiming’s film music creation is born in such a large environment, and his style of film music is also formed in the writing process.
