道德作为人类生存活动的重要手段和方式,是同人类共存亡的,只要人类存在,道德就存在,但在不同的历史时期,道德的内容却不同,本文仅就中国当前转型时期的道德状况及其建设,略述管见。 一、中国当前的道德状况概观 自党的十一届三中全会以来,党和人民从“两个凡是”和“以阶级斗争为纲”的束缚中解放出来,从而走上了以经济建设为中心的改革开放之路,人民的物质生活大大富裕了,科学文化也有了长足的进步和发展,这是举世瞩目的成就,特别是十四大确立了市场经济模式,更为中国的经济腾飞插上了翅膀,为中国成为世界强国打下了坚实的基础,提供了可靠的保证。当然,也无庸讳言,在中国经济腾飞的同时,我国国民的道德状况也出现了令人堪忧的状况,尽管社会上仍然有大量的英雄模范人物和先进集体出现,有鞠躬尽瘁、死而后已的许多公仆,有自觉坚持社会主义和共产主义道德的普通人民,但道德滑坡现象仍然比较严重,在某些领域甚至出现了严重的倒退,这主要表现在道德意识和道德行为的混乱与退步上。
