从赫尔巴特创立传统学校教育体系以来,心理学作为教育教学实践和改革的核心理论基础之一的地位日益巩固.以人为出发点,以人与社会的发展为核心,以培养现代素质的人为目的的现代教育,离不开现代心理学及其普及、发展.改革开放以来,我国教育教学改革在经济社会文化迅猛发展的推动下,在全世界范围内教育教学改革浪潮的冲击下,从局部到整体,从表层到深层,取得了举世瞩目的成就,特别是在《中国教育改革与发展纲要》和《中共中央、国务院关于加快科技进步的决定》发布以后,在“科教兴国”战略决策指导下,素质教育的基本目标更呼唤着现代心理学在教育教学实践和改革中充分发挥作用.
