In the calculation of diagonally eccentrically pressed reinforced concrete members, the Soviet Union has been using Ni Keqin’s approximate formula in the design specifications for reinforced concrete for more than a decade. Although this formula is simple and quick, it is theoretically not strict enough, and at the same time, it is reviewed by the Department. Nature, if used for design calculations, is not good enough. In order to overcome this shortcoming, this article derives some new formulas based on Nishi’s formula, and compiles the calculation table. We can press the one-way ordinary eccentric compression reinforcement as long as we can find a considerable value from the table. Finally, for the purpose of further simplifying the calculation, a new empirical formula derived from the calculation table is proposed to make the calculations.
