改革开放以来,莱芜市对外经贸工作取得了显著成绩。广大干部职工艰苦创业.勤奋进取。到1991年底,创立了外贸总公司,下辖5个外贸专业公司,52个出口专厂(车间);建设了15万多亩农副产品出口基地,开展多渠道、多层次、多功能的综合性经营,出口额连年大幅度增长,“七五”期间年增长率达53%。1991年,我国外贸实行统一政策、平等竞争、自主经营、自负盈亏的新体制,莱芜市的外贸工作保持
Since the reform and opening up, Laiwu City has made remarkable achievements in its foreign economic and trade work. The vast number of cadres and employees work hard and enterprising. By the end of 1991, the General Corporation for Foreign Trade was established, which administers 5 foreign trade specialized companies and 52 export special plants (workshops); it has built more than 150,000 mu of agricultural and sideline products export bases and carried out multi-channel, multi-level, multi-functional comprehensiveness. In terms of operations, the export volume has grown significantly year after year. The annual growth rate during the “July 5” period is 53%. In 1991, China’s foreign trade implemented a new system of unified policies, equal competition, independent management, and self-financing, and Laiwu’s foreign trade work was maintained.
