一、前言教师素质直接影响到教学质量,中学英语教学的主要目标是培养学生对英语学习的兴趣,作为中学英语教师,教师的素质及教学水平直接影响学生对英语学习的兴趣,而且这种影响会持续到大学,甚至学生的一生。由于少数民族属欠发达地区,地理条件恶劣,英语教学的主客观条件令人担忧,英语教学任务甚是艰巨。而英语教师的师资状况也不尽如人意,桂西北地区有的地方甚至令人担忧。
