精神病学在癌症诊断及治疗中无直接作用,但是在协助癌症患者及其家属处理有些问题,如对死亡的恐惧等能发挥一定的作用。精神科医生在肿瘤学中的主要作用,可能概括为:癌症预防、癌症治疗及癌症研究三方面。
Psychiatry has no direct role in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, but it can play a role in assisting cancer patients and their families in dealing with problems such as fear of death. The main role of psychiatrists in oncology may be summarized as: cancer prevention, cancer treatment and cancer research.
