A forum initiated by Goetz Bachman, Bayesian, and Quan Xi Jin “Media Terminology ” (June 17-19, 2015) aims to revisit and revise the fundamental issues of media theory. As the media environment changes over time, whether or not our current situation is creating new terms needs to be re-described. What conditions are required to define the subject of media research?
