我们应该彻底抛弃冲动、泄愤式的爱国主义,我们需要的是理性的爱国主义。近期,中央一台热播的电视连续剧《李小龙传奇》引起了很多人的关注。观众不仅被李小龙富有戏剧色彩的一生和出神入化的武功所吸引,更由衷地佩服他用实际行动展现出的不卑不亢的爱国主义精神。上个世纪六十年代,由于历史原因,华人在美国普遍受到歧视。李小龙初到大学就不断受到美国学生的挑衅和侮辱,一开始他采取了与其他血气方刚的愣头青一样的方法——用拳头解决问题。
We should completely abandon the impulse and vent our anger at patriotism. What we need is rational patriotism.
