前言江苏地处江淮下游,东临黄海,海岸类型主要为粉砂淤泥质平原海岸。历史时期,黄河一度从江苏入海,所挟带的大量泥沙为塑造现今的江苏海岸起了主导作用。但自1855年黄河北归山东入海之后,加之长江主泓逐渐南摆,供给江苏海岸的泥沙急剧减少,使江苏很大一段海岸在海洋动力作用下处在强烈侵蚀过程中。它的侵蚀范围和强度均居全国同类海岸之首。
Preface Jiangsu is located in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and the Yellow Sea in the east, with the coast mainly silty silt plains coast. During the historical period, once the Yellow River came into the sea from Jiangsu, the large amount of sediment it carried took a leading role in shaping the current Jiangsu coast. However, since the return of the Yellow River to Shandong in 1855 and the gradual southward expansion of the main Yangtze River, the sediment supplied to the coast of Jiangsu has been drastically reduced, leaving a large part of the Jiangsu coast under intensive marine erosion. Its scope and intensity of erosion are among the first of its kind in the country.
