档案保护技术学是研究档案制成材料变化规律和保护档案的技术方法的学科。它与档案学其它主要专业课程的一个明显区别就是其基本属性为自然科学。这对于我们大多数从事社会科学工作、现有知识结构又多为文科成分的学员来说,确实是一门较难对付的课程。而且,这次考试用的指定教材是中国人民大学出版社1992年版的《档案保护技术学》,它无论是对曾经参加过各类专业培训的学员,还是对不曾有过专业培训经历的学员,都是一本全新的教材。与以往同类教材相比,它内容全面,且有一定的深度。
File protection technology is the study of archives made of material changes in the law and the protection of archives technical methods disciplines.
