In the last column, we introduced a phenomenon that every manager must understand: the emergence of an experiential economy. So, why is the focus of competition is from the products and services to experience? From the demand side, we can find a lot of reasons. For example, the great wealth created since the Industrial Revolution and the division of labor have allowed us to pay people who provide services, and time is becoming more and more important and valuable to us. From the supply side, there is only one reason: commercialization. Differences did not play a role, the relationship has not been sustained, the quality is almost the same. On the negative side? Most companies copy competitors, stagnated in product development, but only lower prices, prices, prices!
