At the end of the nineteenth century, Boston, USA, built huge sugar jars on the terminals near the Commercial Street to store the honey that was shipped around for brewing. One of the cans produced a strange friction noise due to corrosion of the steel plate and mechanical wear. At noon on January 15, 1919, the 27-meter high and 15-meter tall cannon burst into a sudden dehiscence, causing 750,000 liters of syrup to flood the street. Overwhelming syrup flows at a speed of 60 kilometers an hour, broken steel shot 60 meters away, fleeing pedestrians and wagons quickly catch up and wrapped with sticky molasses. The accidental disaster drowned, suffocated and killed
